“I really wanted to find a design that could represent the poetic and tactile qualities of my ceramic work in a digital environment.

I also wanted to have a website that I could easily alter as my needs changed, which they often do!  Finding Tonic was amazing!!!  I was able to create a site that met all these criteria.  Even though it’s a template, it feels like it was tailor-made for me. The use of negative space allows for the website to have beautiful pauses that creates a calm viewing experience.  The typefaces used also give the design a timeless aesthetic.  My favorite quote of all time is ‘Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry’ (Leonard Koren), and I feel like it describes the design of this site perfectly.”
