Margarita

drum roll, please!
your brand cocktail is a

The margarita, man. It could be our mutual love of tequila talking, but is there anything more synonymous with "Good things are about to go down" than pitchers of margaritas (and a pile of guac, of course)? You, friend, are that pitcher. You breathe life into boring and are a  professional oasis for clients looking for someone to connect with.

We're guessing you book every client you sit down with (over margs, natch), but maybe it's a little harder to make that powerful, personal connection through your brand + website?

Oh, that sweet  + salty nectar of the agave gods. Your brand is the life of the (professional) party, with personality to spare, and it's a good thing, too, because goodness knows the world needs a little more tequila.

You've got the potential to create a serious love-at-first-site (and sight!) connection with your dream clients if you can figure out the right balance of professional / personal, salty / sweet. We've just gotta get that big brand personality conveyed well online. (There's nothing worse than a watered down margarita, and straight tequila's a little too strong.)

MIXING DIRECTIONS

01

Ask That Tribe Of Yours

This is our BEST trick for all you margaritas: find out what's working. You've gotta think strategically about what parts of your personality you present online and showcase the ones that resonate with your dream clients. So, ASK. Send a quick survey to a few favorites, and ask what they loved about working with you. We're going to guess it wasn't just your work ...

03

Don't Be Afraid to Attract & Repel

It's shocking, but some people just don't like tequila. And that's mystifying, but okay. There’s nothing wrong with magnetizing your dream clients and subtly repelling the rest.  Just make sure you're balancing all that salt with a little sweet. A good rule? The more professional your online surroundings, the more personal you can be in them.

02

Start With What Makes You Different

So, that was fun, right? Now, what did those clients say? That's your unique value proposition — your secret sauce. Those things should be reflected on your website (Hello, new review content!), the way you write your Instagram posts (use your actual tone of voice) and the kind of work you choose to display. There's so much power in going with what you're good at!
