I have to say, I literally dreamed about Spicy Margarita for two days before I bought it ... And I'm still seeing it in my dreams now that I've started working on it. I LOVE this template. So much.
I've had Paloma for a while but she's always felt too quiet; I'd been admiring Martini and Aperol Spritz but they just felt too grown up for me. Spicy Margarita is the vibe I've been trying to create for my whole life, and she showed up at just the right time. Thank you for making something so special.

Your timing with these is beyond impeccable. I literally just decided last week that I am moving away from my main site being so photography-forward. I want to pivot it towards a more personal brand (I also run a product/eCommerce site and a couple of Substacks, so I am a little all over the place and need a website that better serves all the moving parts as I transition out of the service world and into the next).

I have loved both my Tonic sites over the years, but honestly, I couldn't justify getting a third template right now in this economy. I really didn't want to just pick at my current one and redo it with that template (love Vesper, but I'm just not in a place to putz right now).

I did the thing I didn't want to do: I looked at other designers. That went exactly as you'd expect: It was like sipping Barefoot Bubbly after having developed a taste for Moët & Chandon or Veuve Clicquot.

But then, THIS email came. And it saved my day.

There is an infinite list of reasons why I love Tonic (which includes Jen's emails--she needs a podcast like yesterday). But one of the top ones is your constant evolution to serve us while staying true to the classic, iconic design quality for which you are known.

I knew it was working for me when I stopped explaining. For years, I felt like the only way people could “get it” was if I sat them down with vision boards and explained my whole process. Now, I just send them to my site. It so clearly and beautifully tells the story for me. For the first time, I found myself bragging on my own website with genuine pride.
